The Organisation
Pannisai Paadasaalai is a Thirumurai school, managed by Impian Irama Sdn Bhd. The school was established in May 2019 and located at Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. The school conducts Thirumurai (Thevaram Thiruvasagam) classes for adult, children, and preschool children.
Pannisai Paadasaalai is a social enterprise (non-profit organization), where profit making is not the main agenda. The school aims to maximise its service that benefits the community through the teaching and learning of Thirumurai. Hence the profits are mainly channeled to fund the projects and events organized by the school.
In 2024, Pannisai Paadasaalai expanded its service to Klang Valley, where 2 branches each in Klang and KL were inaugurated. The opening of 2 more branches in the urban area enabled the recruitment of students from various demographic.
Pannisai Paadasaalai comprises of approximately 300 students, who come from both Negeri Sembilan and Klang Valley. We have employed 5 teachers to conduct the classes. These teachers are well trained in the field of Thirumurai, and they have vast experience in performing Thirumurai on stage and recite in temples. They have completed the Thirumurai Pannisai certification course at Pannisai Paadasaalai. Therefore they are well versed with school syllabus and the approach.
Pannisai Paadasaalai’s academically well designed and systematic syllabus and approach towards the teaching and learning of Thirumurai, has gained a good recognition among the Thirumurai enthusiasts especially the parents. The emphasis on the musical element of Thirumurai, unlike the traditional approach of teaching Thirumurai as religious class alone, has attracted many young parents to enroll their children to the school.
